Managing Principal - Dennis J. Savoie

Sphere Consulting Group, LLC’s Managing Principal, Dennis J. Savoie,  has been active with local and State technology partners, like Louisiana Economic Development,  Louisiana Technology Park, Baton Rouge Technology Council, CapStrategy, Louisiana Technology and Business Center, Louisiana Technology Council, and Louisiana Venture Capital Forum, to name a few. 

His twenty five years of self-employment and corporate experiences range from general management, finance and accounting, information systems, operations, engineering, research and technology, sales, marketing, product development and customer services. Prior to his personal consulting, Mr. Savoie was employed with Fortune 500 aerospace, telecommunications, oil and gas, and microelectronics manufacturers. His knowledge-base and case-base experience with products, services and technology past claims range from public and private networks, military and space exploration programs, commercial real-estate and microelectronic design. 

This include wireless (WISP), satellite (VSAT), wire line broadband access networks (ISP), voice and video over Internet protocol, network switching and routing technologies, propulsion, avionics, knowledge-base systems, ablative materials, composites, plasma arc welding, artificial intelligence, neurtral networks, circuit design assurance, microprocessors, logic analysis, spectrum analysis, sneak circuit analysis, fault tree, failure mode analysis and waveform acquisition, to name a few. 

The market sectors knowledge-case-base experience are in enterprise and government.  This includes Internet, information technology, aerospace, petroleum, semiconductors, medical, telecommunications, transportation, airline, turbojet, commercial real-estate, film and television, and microelectronics; Department of Defense (DoD), NASA, Homeland Security, university, state and local jurisdictions.

Mr. Savoie earned a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering in 1979 from the University of Louisiana in Louisiana and attended the University of Houston, Business Administration College and also the Applied Business and Technology Center to pursue a Masters in Business Administrations in 1995 and 1996.  Mr. Savoie holds certification's training in management leadership, grants development, project management; network, broadband, wireless and wire line technologies; proposal management, value management, account development and solution selling.  Mr. Savoie’s authored and co-authored several scientific, technical publications and major proposals.
